Roulette Nouveau is not a slot, and reviewing it next to slots is slightly unfair. Set that aside. What Relax has built is a European single-zero roulette table with a streamlined UI and a side bet panel that is more aggressive than the genre norm. The house edge on the main bets sits at the expected 2.7% (1/37). That number is non-negotiable on a fair single-zero wheel and Relax has not tried to disguise it.

The interesting design choice is the betting layout. Numbered inside bets are large and finger friendly, racetrack neighbors are exposed on the main view, and the side-bet panel sits above the wheel where slot UIs would typically put a jackpot ticker. Side bets include Final, Neighbors, Orphelins, and Tier, all of which carry the standard house edge for those constructions. Nothing exotic. Nothing carrying a 10% rake.

The drawback is what side bets always are: visually inviting, mathematically worse than the obvious plays. New players who don't read the help screen will gravitate toward them. The UI does not warn against it. That is a player-protection oversight that Evolution's tables, for all their flaws, handle better with hover tooltips on expected return.

RTP and volatility do not really apply in the slot sense. Theoretical RTP is 97.3% on a single-zero wheel with the named bets carrying their respective standard edges. That figure is the only one we are comfortable citing because it is the literal math of the format.

For casual play this is a perfectly fine RNG roulette product. For serious play, live dealer roulette from Evolution or Pragmatic Live offers the same math with social presence and faster pace per hour.
