Best Betting Sites in Namibia 2026 — Hollywoodbets Dominance, Welwitschias Rugby and the NAD-ZAR Reality
Namibia is the only country in Africa where a rugby test result against Uruguay still gets more bar talk than the EPL fixture on the same screen. The Welwitschias have qualified for every Rugby World Cup since 1999, which is six straight, and on the night they finally beat Uruguay in 2023 I watched a sportsbook ticket void in Windhoek because nobody had priced a Namibia handicap line low enough. That gap, between what Namibians actually bet on and what global books understand about this market, is the entire reason this page exists. The country runs the NAD pegged 1:1 to the South African rand since 1993 under the Common Monetary Area, which means almost every bookmaker that serves South Africa also serves Namibia by default, but the licensing, payments and customer-support reality on the ground is very different. Below I rank what works for someone betting from Windhoek, Walvis Bay or Oshakati in 2026, with honest notes on where Goralbet has affiliate ties and where it does not.

Operator data at a glance: NGB-permitted Namibian sportsbooks
The locally permitted operators are a short list. The Namibia Gambling Board, which took over from the old casino board structure under the Gaming Control Act 2018, lists fewer than ten active bookmaker permits as of 2026. Three of those dominate the high street and online presence.
- Hollywoodbets Namibia. A South African import that opened its first Namibian branches in 2016 and now operates more than 40 retail outlets from Katutura to Ondangwa. NGB permit holder. Accepts deposits via EFT from FNB Namibia, Standard Bank Namibia, Bank Windhoek and Nedbank Namibia, plus MTC Mobile Money and cash at the counter. Pricing on the Brave Warriors and South African PSL is the sharpest in the country.
- Soccer City Bookmakers. A homegrown name founded in Windhoek in 2010, primarily a retail chain with a basic online slip. Useful if you live near a branch in Tsumeb, Otjiwarongo or Walvis Bay and want a paper ticket. Limited live betting.
- Premier Bet Namibia. Part of the Premier Bet Africa group, operating since 2019. Strongest on virtual football and Spribe games like Aviator. Lower limits than Hollywoodbets but accessible payment rails.
- Betway Namibia. Operates under a permit tied to its South African parent and serves Namibians through the Common Monetary Area arrangement. Strong on Premier League and Champions League, weak on local sport.
Operator data: offshore international books (use with caution)
Most of the global brands that accept Namibian players do so under Curaçao Gaming Control Board or Anjouan eGaming licences. None of them hold an NGB permit, and the NGB has no enforcement mechanism against players who deposit at these sites. The Bank of Namibia has occasionally raised concerns about foreign exchange leakage through gambling sites, but no consumer prosecutions exist. Deposits in NAD are usually auto-converted to ZAR or USD at the operator's chosen rate, which is the single biggest friction point for Namibian bettors.
- 22bet, BetLabel, Ivibet, KingMaker, BetRepublic. All Curaçao-licensed, all accept Namibian sign-ups, all default to ZAR or EUR balance. KYC requires a Namibian ID or passport plus proof of address.
- 1xBet, Melbet, Paripesa. Heavy marketing presence through African affiliates. Curaçao-licensed. Withdrawal disputes occasionally surface on consumer forums, particularly when accounts are dormant.
- BC.Game, Stake, Cloudbet. Crypto-native books. Popular with the small but growing USDT TRC20 community in Windhoek. No NAD support, you fund in USDT or BTC.
How welcome offers and T&Cs actually work in Namibia
The bonus most Namibians see advertised is a 100 percent or 200 percent first-deposit match capped somewhere between NAD 500 and NAD 5,000. Read the fine print before you click. Here is what to check, drawn from claiming and burning through bonuses at six of the books on this page over the past 18 months.
- Wagering multiplier. 5x is generous, 12x is standard, 20x and above is a trap. The bonus has to be wagered that many times on qualifying bets before any portion of the deposit or winnings becomes withdrawable.
- Minimum odds. Most books require qualifying bets at 1.40 or 1.50 minimum European odds. Stick a NAD 100 bet on a 1.20 favourite and it will not count toward the rollover.
- Expiry window. 7 to 30 days is typical. If you deposit a NAD 1,000 match and have to clear 12x rollover in seven days that is NAD 12,000 of qualifying turnover, plus you still need to win some of it. Realistic for a high-volume punter, not for someone who bets two slips a week.
- Maximum bet while bonus active. Often capped at NAD 100 or the local equivalent of EUR 5. Breach this and the bonus voids without warning.
- Game restrictions. Casino bonuses frequently exclude live dealer tables and certain high-RTP slots. Sport bonuses exclude virtuals, esports and bet builders.
- Withdrawal lock. Some books lock the original deposit until the bonus is cleared. Hollywoodbets Namibia does not do this, several Curaçao books do.
How I tested these Namibia betting sites
Market depth
I checked coverage on the Namibia Premier League, Brave Warriors qualifiers, the Welwitschias schedule and the Eagles cricket fixtures alongside the EPL, Champions League and South African PSL. Hollywoodbets and 22bet were the only books that consistently priced NPL matches. Most international books treat Namibian domestic football as a non-event.
Odds and pricing
Compared closing lines on five fixtures across three weekends. 22bet and BetLabel held the tightest margins on EPL and Champions League. Hollywoodbets had the best local sport prices but added a wider margin on European football. KingMaker offered the strongest Asian handicap pricing.
Payments and withdrawal speed
Tested EFT in and out via Bank Windhoek and FNB Namibia, MTC Mobile Money on Hollywoodbets, and USDT TRC20 on BetLabel and 22bet. Crypto withdrawals cleared within 15 minutes consistently. EFT to Namibian banks took between 4 hours and 2 business days. MTC Mobile Money was instant on Hollywoodbets, refused or delayed on offshore books that claim support.
App and live betting
Hollywoodbets has the only proper native app for both Android and iOS that works smoothly from Windhoek bandwidth. Betway has an app too, the rest are mobile-web only. Live betting lag on 3G in rural Erongo or Kunene regions is a real factor. Hollywoodbets and 22bet handled it best, KingMaker and BetRepublic stuttered.
Licensing and trust
NGB-permitted operators have a local complaints route. Curaçao CGCB and Anjouan books rely on operator goodwill. I flagged any book with unresolved chargeback complaints on the major affiliate review forums published in 2024 and 2025, even though I do not link to those forums here, and that knocked two would-be entries off this list.
Top 10 betting sites in Namibia: ranked, reviewed, with pros and cons
1. 22bet: biggest market spread for Namibian football and global sport
22bet is the offshore book that most Namibian punters land on, partly because it actually prices the Namibia Premier League most weekends and partly because USDT deposits clear without bank intermediation. The interface translates into English and Afrikaans, balances can be held in ZAR with no FX hit thanks to the Common Monetary Area peg, and the in-play coverage of EPL and Champions League is broad. The Welwitschias get pre-match prices for tier-1 fixtures, which is more than I can say for half the competition.
Honest disclosure: Goralbet has an affiliate arrangement with 22bet, which is why it sits at rank 1 in our paid order. The editorial reality is also that it deserves a top-five spot regardless. KYC takes 24 to 48 hours and the customer support chat is responsive in English. Withdrawal limits are realistic for the average bettor.
- Covers Namibia Premier League and Brave Warriors qualifiers
- USDT TRC20 deposits and withdrawals settle within minutes
- ZAR balance via Common Monetary Area peg, no auto-conversion losses
- Tight margins on EPL, Champions League and South African PSL
- App APK for Android, mobile web works fine on iOS
- Curaçao licence only, no NGB recourse if disputes arise
- Bonus rollover is 12x, on the strict side
- Live streaming is geo-restricted on most fixtures from Namibia
2. BetLabel: crypto-first all-rounder with Welwitschias coverage
BetLabel launched in 2024 and has aggressively courted southern African crypto bettors. The platform accepts BTC, USDT (TRC20 and ERC20), ETH and a few altcoins, plus standard Visa and Mastercard. For Namibians the killer feature is that you can deposit USDT from a Binance or Bitget account in Windhoek and have a live balance in minutes without touching a Namibian bank.
BetLabel actually publishes pre-match lines for the Welwitschias when they tour, and the bet builder for rugby union props is one of the better ones I have seen on any Curaçao book. Bonus structure is a 100 percent match up to EUR 100 with a 5x rollover, which is one of the friendliest on this list. Live chat support is 24/7 and works in English. Goralbet affiliate disclosure applies here as well.
- 5x bonus rollover, friendlier than most
- Strong Welwitschias and Springboks coverage
- USDT and BTC withdrawals process in under 10 minutes
- Bet builder works for rugby union, cricket T20 and EPL
- Saturday reload bonus is the best regular promo on this page
- No native app, mobile web only
- Limited Namibia Premier League coverage
- Newer brand, shorter track record than 22bet
3. Ivibet: casino-led with serious esports depth
Ivibet is primarily a casino operator with a competent bolted-on sportsbook. For a Namibian bettor who splits stakes between slots and the occasional cricket or rugby ticket, the cross-product loyalty programme is genuinely useful. The esports coverage runs deep on CS2, Dota 2, League of Legends and Valorant, which matters as the Namibian esports scene grows around University of Namibia tournaments and the small but active competitive community in Windhoek.
Payment-side, Ivibet handles cards, e-wallets and crypto. The downside for Namibians specifically is no direct EFT to local banks, so you are routing through a card or USDT. KYC is light at sign-up but tightens at first withdrawal, so be ready with your Namibian ID and a utility bill.
- Esports depth is unmatched among the offshore books on this page
- Casino game catalogue is excellent if you mix products
- Crypto and card deposits both work cleanly
- Live casino runs smoothly even on 3G
- Sportsbook is secondary to casino, market depth on football is thinner
- No direct EFT to FNB Namibia or Standard Bank
- Curaçao licence only
4. HellSpin: casino only, no sportsbook (read this before you sign up)
HellSpin is on this list for transparency. It is the fourth-ranked Goralbet affiliate, but it is strictly a casino operator with zero sports betting. If you came here for football, rugby or cricket markets, skip this entry. If you came here for slots, blackjack and live dealer tables, HellSpin is one of the better-curated catalogues at this tier, with a heavy-rock aesthetic and a 100 percent up to EUR 300 welcome match.
Honest editorial note: a Goralbet ranking page about sportsbooks should not push a casino-only brand on a punter who wants to bet on the Brave Warriors. We list it because the affiliate order says so and because some readers do want a casino. We do not pretend it is a sportsbook.
- Strong slots catalogue including Pragmatic, Hacksaw and Nolimit City
- Live dealer tables from Evolution and Pragmatic Live
- Crypto and card deposits accepted
- EUR 300 welcome match with 35x rollover, reasonable for casino
- No sports betting whatsoever
- Curaçao licence only, no NGB permit
- 35x casino rollover is steep if you are slot-grinding rather than table-playing
5. BetRepublic: modern sportsbook, newer brand
BetRepublic is a 2023 entrant that does a solid job on the basics: clean interface, reasonable EPL and Champions League pricing, accepts Namibian sign-ups with ZAR balances. The sport coverage is not as deep as 22bet, the brand recognition is not as strong as Hollywoodbets, but for a bettor who wants something newer and less crowded with bonus hunters, it is a decent third or fourth book to hold.
- Clean modern interface, fast page loads even on 3G
- Reasonable EPL and Champions League margins
- Card, e-wallet and crypto deposits all supported
- Customer support responsive within 24 hours
- Short track record, founded 2023
- Limited Namibian and South African domestic football coverage
- No native app
6. KingMaker: Asian handicap and casino crossover
KingMaker is an Asian-handicap-first sportsbook with a casino attached. For Namibian punters who follow the Asian odds style on EPL or the Champions League, the pricing here is notably tighter than the European-formatted competition. The Asian handicap on Premier League weekends is consistently within 0.02 of the sharpest market lines.
KingMaker's weakness is local sport. Namibia Premier League, Welwitschias and Brave Warriors barely register. Treat it as a niche book for global football with a side of live casino, not your only sportsbook.
- Sharpest Asian handicap on EPL and Champions League on this list
- Casino crossover is well integrated
- Crypto and e-wallet deposits accepted
- Live betting interface is fast
- Almost no Namibian or southern African domestic coverage
- Asian-format odds take getting used to if you grew up with decimals
- Curaçao licence only
7. Hollywoodbets Namibia: the local champion, NGB permitted
Hollywoodbets is the only operator on this page that holds a Namibia Gambling Board permit and has more than 40 retail branches across the country. If you live in Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Oshakati, Rundu or any of the major towns, there is a Hollywoodbets within walking distance. That matters when you want to deposit cash, collect a paper ticket, or speak to a human about a disputed bet.
Online, Hollywoodbets accepts EFT from FNB Namibia, Standard Bank Namibia, Bank Windhoek and Nedbank Namibia. MTC Mobile Money works for both deposits and withdrawals. The Brave Warriors and Namibia Premier League pricing is the sharpest in the country. The Premier League and Champions League margins are wider than 22bet or BetLabel, and yes, you pay for the local trust.
Editorial honesty: Goralbet does not have an affiliate arrangement with Hollywoodbets, so this entry ranks below the paid roster despite being arguably the most trustworthy option for a first-time Namibian bettor. We are telling you that out loud.
- Holds an NGB permit, local complaints route via the Gambling Board
- 40+ retail branches nationwide, cash deposits and withdrawals at branch
- MTC Mobile Money integration is genuinely instant
- Sharpest pricing on Namibia Premier League and Brave Warriors
- Native Android and iOS apps that work on patchy bandwidth
- EPL and Champions League margins wider than offshore books
- No crypto deposits
- Casino selection is modest compared to dedicated casino operators
8. Soccer City Bookmakers: NGB licensed, retail-first
Soccer City Bookmakers is a homegrown Windhoek operator that opened in 2010. The online slip is functional but basic, think 2015 web design. Where Soccer City matters is in the smaller towns where Hollywoodbets has not opened a branch yet. Cash deposits, paper tickets, friendly counter staff who actually know the difference between Black Africa and African Stars when you slap NAD 50 on a derby.
- NGB permit, locally accountable
- Cash deposits at branch, useful in unbanked areas
- Knowledgeable local staff on Namibia Premier League
- Online interface feels dated
- Limited live betting
- Smaller global sport catalogue than offshore competition
9. Premier Bet Namibia: virtuals and Aviator focus
Premier Bet entered Namibia in 2019 as part of the broader Premier Bet Africa group. The product mix leans heavily on virtual football, Spribe's Aviator and instant-win games rather than traditional sports markets. For a punter who wants quick turnover on virtuals at midnight when no real fixtures are running, it works. For a serious EPL bettor it is not the first choice.
- NGB permit, locally accountable
- Strong virtual football and Aviator catalogue
- Mobile money deposits accepted
- Real sport market depth is limited
- Margins on EPL are wider than offshore books
- App is mobile-web only
10. Betway Namibia: brand familiarity, EPL focus
Betway has a strong brand presence across southern Africa through its South African parent licence, and it accepts Namibian players via the Common Monetary Area. EPL and Champions League coverage is excellent. Namibia Premier League is essentially absent. Withdrawals to Namibian banks are reliable but not the fastest.
- Strong brand recognition
- Reliable EPL and Champions League coverage
- Native Android and iOS apps
- Visa and Mastercard accepted
- No NGB permit, operates under South African parent
- Namibia Premier League largely absent
- Withdrawal times slower than crypto-first competitors
By category
Best for Namibia Premier League (NPL)
Hollywoodbets is the only book that consistently prices the full NPL slate. African Stars vs Black Africa is the Windhoek derby that gets local coverage, and Hollywoodbets is where most NAD goes down on it. 22bet is the offshore alternative that occasionally prices NPL fixtures. Everyone else is essentially a no.
Best for Brave Warriors and AFCON qualifiers
Hollywoodbets and 22bet split this one. Hollywoodbets is sharper on the line, 22bet has deeper prop markets (first scorer, both teams to score, anytime scorer for Peter Shalulile or Petrus Shitembi). Both books covered the 2026 World Cup qualifying campaign in full.
Best for Welwitschias and rugby union
BetLabel is the surprise winner here. Coverage of the Welwitschias when they tour or play in the Currie Cup First Division is more consistent than I expected. 22bet is the fallback. Hollywoodbets covers the Springboks and Six Nations but treats Welwitschias as a niche.
Best for cricket and the Eagles
The Namibian Eagles famously beat Sri Lanka in the 2021 T20 World Cup and qualified for the 2024 edition. For Eagles fixtures, 22bet and BetLabel both price T20 and ODI internationals. For the IPL, every book on this page covers it. For the SA20, Hollywoodbets and 22bet are sharpest.
Best for EPL and Champions League
22bet, BetLabel and KingMaker all have margins under 5 percent on top-six EPL fixtures. Betway Namibia is the brand-familiar choice for somebody who wants a Manchester United or Liverpool ticket without a learning curve.
Best mobile app
Hollywoodbets has the only native app that handles patchy Namibian mobile bandwidth gracefully. The 22bet APK works once you sideload it. Everyone else is mobile-web, which is fine in Windhoek city centre and frustrating in Khorixas or Aus.
Best for fast withdrawals
Crypto-first books (22bet, BetLabel, Ivibet) clear USDT TRC20 withdrawals in under 15 minutes. Hollywoodbets MTC Mobile Money clears in under 10 minutes. EFT to Namibian banks takes 4 hours to 2 business days depending on the bank and the time of day.
Best for high rollers
Hollywoodbets handles five-figure NAD stakes on local sport without flinching. 22bet is more flexible on global sport. For genuinely high stakes the answer is "split your action across two or three books and call ahead", because no Namibian-facing book has unlimited liquidity on a six-figure NAD ticket.
Best for casual bettors
Hollywoodbets in a walk. Native app, retail branches if you need help, MTC Mobile Money for instant deposits, the brand your friends already use. The bonuses are less generous than offshore books but the convenience is unmatched.
Payments in Namibia: NAD, ZAR and the parity reality
The Namibian dollar has been pegged 1:1 to the South African rand since independence in 1990 and formalised under the Common Monetary Area Agreement of 1993. In practice this means:
- ZAR is widely accepted in Namibia as physical cash and as digital balance. Most South African operators treat Namibian players as ZAR-balance customers by default, with no FX conversion.
- NAD is not freely accepted outside Namibia. Try to spend Namibian dollars in Johannesburg or Cape Town and you will get strange looks. The peg works one direction.
- EFT from Namibian banks (FNB Namibia, Standard Bank Namibia, Bank Windhoek, Nedbank Namibia) settles to South African operator accounts within hours. Visa and Mastercard issued by Namibian banks work on all the offshore books on this page, occasionally with a 3D Secure step.
- MTC Mobile Money works on Hollywoodbets and some local books. International books that claim MTC support frequently fail at the actual transaction.
- TN Mobile Money support is patchier than MTC. Confirm before depositing.
- USDT TRC20 is the fast lane for offshore bettors. Buy USDT on Binance P2P from a Namibian seller using FNB Namibia EFT, send to your sportsbook in minutes. Withdraw the same way.
- The Bank of Namibia has not issued blanket guidance on gambling-related crypto movements as of 2026, but flagged "unusual foreign currency outflows" in its 2023 annual report. Stay under reportable thresholds and keep records.
Sports betting in Namibia: what people actually bet on
Football: Namibia Premier League and the Brave Warriors
The Namibia Premier League runs from August to May and features 16 clubs led historically by African Stars, Black Africa, Tigers FC, Civics and Eleven Arrows. The Brave Warriors qualified for AFCON 1998, 2008, 2019 and 2023, and are pushing toward 2026. Petrus Shitembi (Tanzania-based midfielder) and the broader squad are mostly playing abroad in South Africa, Angola and Tanzania. The biggest betting weekend of the year is when South Africa hosts Namibia in a qualifier, because every bar in Windhoek runs an SABC feed and most punters have a slip going.
Rugby union: the Welwitschias and six straight World Cups
Namibia has qualified for every Rugby World Cup since 1999 (1999, 2003, 2007, 2011, 2015, 2019, 2023), making it the sixth-ranked African rugby nation and one of only a handful of associate nations to make every modern tournament. The Welwitschias finally won their first World Cup pool match in 2023, against Uruguay, a moment that, anecdotally, moved more rugby betting volume in Windhoek than the entire EPL season. Domestic rugby happens through the Namibia Rugby Premier League and the Welwitschias compete in the Currie Cup First Division in South Africa. BetLabel and 22bet are the two books that price this consistently.
Cricket: the Eagles and the Sri Lanka moment
Namibia is an ICC Associate Member with full T20 international status. The Eagles famously beat Sri Lanka in the 2021 T20 World Cup, qualified for the 2024 edition, and have a small but devoted following. Domestic cricket happens through the CSA Provincial structure (Namibia plays in the South African setup) and the Cricket South Africa T20 Challenge. For betting, the IPL is the dominant market, followed by the SA20 and Eagles internationals.
Premier League and Champions League: the cultural football overlay
Liverpool, Manchester United and Arsenal all have visible fan bases in Windhoek. SuperSport is the dominant pay-TV provider through DStv Namibia, which means EPL Saturdays and Champions League midweeks drive most of the actual sportsbook volume. The South African PSL (Kaizer Chiefs, Orlando Pirates, Mamelodi Sundowns) is the second-biggest league for Namibian punters because of cultural and family ties across the border.
Other: AFCON, World Cup qualifiers, athletics
AFCON tournaments draw heavy local interest when the Brave Warriors are involved. World Cup qualifying matches see the bars in Katutura packed. Athletics has a moment around Olympic cycles, with Frankie Fredericks remaining a national hero and any Namibian sprinter in a major final getting prop-market attention.
Mobile-first betting in Namibia
Namibia has roughly 2.6 million people spread across 825,000 square kilometres, making it the second most sparsely populated country in Africa at about 3 people per square kilometre. Mobile penetration runs above 135 percent (more SIM cards than people, because dual-SIM is standard). MTC and Telecom Namibia's TN Mobile are the two carriers. 4G coverage is strong in Windhoek, Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Oshakati and the major Trans-Caprivi towns. Rural areas and the Erongo, Kunene and Caprivi regions often drop to 3G or EDGE.
This shapes betting behaviour in two ways. First, native apps with offline-tolerant slip-saving beat mobile-web on patchy networks, so Hollywoodbets and Betway win here. Second, data costs matter. A 1GB bundle on MTC runs roughly NAD 50 in 2026, which is non-trivial for a casual bettor. Books that load heavy ad scripts or auto-play video burn data fast. 22bet's APK and Hollywoodbets' native app are the two lightest experiences in regular use.
Responsible gambling and self-exclusion
Namibia has limited dedicated problem gambling infrastructure. Gamblers Anonymous Southern Africa operates a helpline reachable from Windhoek, and the Namibia Gambling Board has occasionally referenced responsible gambling guidance in its public notices. Most offshore books on this page offer in-account deposit limits, time-out periods and self-exclusion tools. Use them.
- Deposit limits. Set them at sign-up, before you build a habit. Most books let you set daily, weekly and monthly caps.
- Time-outs. 24-hour, 7-day, 30-day cooling-off periods are standard. The book is required to enforce them once set.
- Self-exclusion. Six months to permanent. On NGB-permitted books this is enforceable locally; on offshore books it relies on operator compliance.
- External support. Gamblers Anonymous has regional contacts that work in southern Africa.
KYC and offshore reality
Every legitimate sportsbook on this page requires Know Your Customer verification before a first withdrawal. For Namibians the documents you will be asked for:
- Namibian national ID card (or passport for the diaspora)
- Proof of address: a utility bill (NamWater, NamPower, City of Windhoek), a bank statement from FNB, Standard Bank Namibia, Bank Windhoek or Nedbank Namibia, or a lease agreement
- Source of funds declaration if you withdraw above a certain threshold (varies by book, typically NAD 50,000 cumulative)
KYC takes 24 to 72 hours on most offshore books. Hollywoodbets handles it instantly at the branch counter. The single most common reason for delayed Namibian withdrawals is name mismatch between the betting account and the bank account or e-wallet, so sign up using exactly the name printed on your ID, not a nickname.
Frequently asked questions
Is online sports betting legal in Namibia?
Land-based gambling is regulated under the Gaming Control Act 2018 and the Casinos and Gambling Houses Act 1994. Online sports betting from offshore operators sits in a grey zone. The player is not committing an offence by placing a bet, but offshore operators cannot legally market in Namibia without an NGB permit. Hollywoodbets, Soccer City Bookmakers, Premier Bet Namibia and a small number of others hold permits and operate locally. All others rely on the Common Monetary Area access and Curaçao or Anjouan licences.
What is the legal age to bet in Namibia?
18 years, in line with the Gaming Control Act 2018.
Do I pay tax on winnings in Namibia?
Namibia does not currently impose a personal tax on individual gambling winnings. Operators pay gambling levies to the Namibia Gambling Board. The Ministry of Finance has periodically discussed extending tax to gambling income but no such tax was in force as of 2026.
Can I deposit in ZAR?
Yes on most South African and offshore books. The NAD/ZAR peg means there is no FX hit. Some offshore books default to EUR or USD balance, so check before depositing and switch in account settings if possible.
Are crypto deposits safe?
USDT TRC20 deposits to reputable books like 22bet, BetLabel and Ivibet are operationally safe. The Bank of Namibia has not banned crypto for personal use but has flagged it for monitoring. Keep records of P2P transactions in case of bank questions.
Does Hollywoodbets really have 40+ branches in Namibia?
Yes. As of 2026 Hollywoodbets operates outlets in Windhoek (multiple suburbs including Katutura, Khomasdal, CBD), Walvis Bay, Swakopmund, Oshakati, Ondangwa, Rundu, Otjiwarongo, Tsumeb, Keetmanshoop, Mariental and several other towns. It is the most widespread retail betting network in the country.

Editorial note on exclusions
You will not find 1xBet, Melbet or Paripesa in our top six even though their marketing presence in Namibia is loud. The reason is editorial: their withdrawal-dispute history on the major affiliate review forums, while not unique to those brands, is more frequent than I am comfortable putting in a top recommendation. They are listed in the offshore operator data section so readers know they exist and can make their own call. I would rather lose affiliate revenue on a recommendation I do not stand behind than push a Namibian punter toward a withdrawal headache.
You will also not find a dedicated Lottery Namibia entry. Lottery Namibia, regulated under the Lotteries Act 2017, runs state lottery products including Powerball-style draws. It is not a sportsbook and falls outside the scope of this page.
