Editorial policy & methodology

Goralbet is an independent publisher. This page documents how we choose what to cover, how we rank operators, who fact-checks the content, and how we keep affiliate revenue from influencing what you read.

Editorial independence

We do not let operators preview, edit, or buy positions in our comparisons. A bookmaker paying us a higher commission per FTD does not move that bookmaker up the rankings — the math behind our "best odds" badge is the same one we'd run if the link was unaffiliated. When an editor declines to cover an operator (licensing concerns, payout disputes), that veto is binding regardless of commercial relationship.

How we rank operators

Each operator is scored across five weighted axes: licensing & jurisdiction trust (25%), payout reliability & withdrawal latency (25%), odds margin vs market median (20%), market breadth (15%), and customer support responsiveness measured by our own ticket panel (15%). We re-score quarterly; movements of less than 0.3 points do not change the published ranking to avoid jitter. The 18 operators we compare in the odds tables are all jurisdiction-licensed for the user's locale — we never list a bookmaker that lacks a valid licence for the visitor's market.

Fact-checking

Numerical claims (odds, payouts, RTP, bonus terms) are sourced from operator APIs or the operator's own T&C page and re-verified by an editor before publication. When the original source disagrees with what an operator's marketing claims, we publish the source figure and flag the discrepancy. Corrections are dated and kept visible at the bottom of the affected page.

Update cadence

Live odds refresh every ~30 minutes from upstream feeds. Editorial reviews (operator rankings, bonus terms, payment methods) are re-validated quarterly or whenever a regulator changes the rules in a market we cover — whichever comes first. The "Updated" timestamp at the top of each page reflects the most recent data refresh, not just a cosmetic re-publish.

Affiliate disclosure

We earn a commission when readers register with an operator through our links. The amount differs between operators. Our rankings, scores, and "best odds" badges are computed before commercial terms are factored in; the commission table is reviewed only by the business team and never reaches the editorial group. If you want to verify this, you can read every operator's score and see that the rankings do not correlate with commission rates.
